Enclosed is a receipt for two Barrells of Newtown Pippins which I have shipped on board the Sloop New York Packet, and I have to beg your acceptance of them, when they arrive. Mrs. Lamb presents her most respectful compliments to yourself, and his Excellency, the President, to whom you will be pleased to make my best wishes acceptable - and permit me to subscribe myself.
